Hospitals face many different challenges operating in the dynamic, modern day healthcare environment. One of the key initiatives that many hospitals face is raising the capital to fund specialized care facilities and programs. Cotton Consulting has extensive experience in initiating, directing, and managing fundraising campaigns for such initiatives. The following is one specific example of an ongoing effort which our team is currently leading for a major regional hospital institution.
This particular institution sought to integrate the disparate services involved with treating complex ailments and diseases such as cancer into a single facility. This integration will provide one seamless experience for patients and their families within the local community and will be the first facility to provide comprehensive services of this nature within the targeted metropolitan area.
The hospital initiated its first major comprehensive fundraising campaign in 2013 to fund the aforementioned facility. Cotton Consulting is supplementing the internal fundraising team by providing industry leading fundraising services such as identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift donor prospects, expanding the targeted donor base, and secure both lead gifts and ongoing donations to the initiative.
In less than one year the team has successfully secured 75% of the overall goal even though the campaign is targeted for completion within a three year timeframe.
