Modern communities still face the challenge of meeting the needs of their most vulnerable citizens.  More than ever before the support of strong human focused organizations is required to provide services such as food distribution, shelter operations, disaster assistance and the many other programs which address the gaps not fulfilled by traditional pubic service organizations.  We at Cotton Consulting have a vested interest in forwarding the missions of human services organizations which are on the front line fighting the battles against poverty and human suffering globally.

 

The Challenge

Our client created a vision to establish a new 50,000 square foot, one level building complex that puts all major programs and services together for a one-stop location to provide comprehensive family, community and social services within their respective metropolitan area. The campus-like setting will upgrade all of the current programs, add new community services, and provide for future expansion and growth.

The Approach

Given Cotton Consulting’s strong relationships with both public and private entities in the specified region, our resources were engaged to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donor prospects in support of the client’s capital campaign.

The Outcome

Cotton Consulting raised over 90% of the $14 million fundraising goal which enabled the entire campaign to be completed in timeframe of under one year.
